Monday saw some decent wind at last from the NW.
Went down to the sea front and saw Al out on his 5.7m.
Rigged up quickly and went out on my 5.8m and Mistral flow.

It was high tide so walked up to where Al was launching from to get away from the groynes and got out. Fell on my first two atttempts to get out and ended up washed up in between the groynes.

Managed to get out the back on the third attempt and went for a decent run out the back to try and get back upwind. The swell was a decent size out there and I wasn't completely comfortable with it. Coming back in I was a bit over powered and my lines weren't quite right and I didn't make as much ground to windward as I'd hoped and landed in amoungst the groynes again.

Tried one more run out but ended up further down wind and knackered so had to endure a 'hike' of shame across the golf course car park (there was no beach to walk on). Packed up hastily to head over to the estuary with stevebus following on.
